This restaurant was good. It had some decent Italian food. However, the price was astronomical. It was not worth it. I will say, though if you do decide to take someone out on a date here, they will probably see it as quite fancy. The service was very good and the atmosphere was incredible. I got the lobster spaghetti (Tonnarelli al Aragosta) pretty much and the person I was with got some kind of spaghetti as well without lobster (Tagliatelle Bolognese) but she enjoyed the wine a lot. I spent $50 on my dish and the lobster was not as good as I thought it would be nor as big as I would like it to be for the price, but since it was a fancy restaurant, I decided to get a fancy dish. The only time I would go back here is for a date and to “impress” people by spending a lot of money on a dish, but the service was pretty good so it was OK and.

I wish I was posting a better review… place is par/average. My deal breaker was when the pasta on the menu said it came with “black truffle” and when the dish arrived, I didn’t see black truffle on it so I asked where was the black truffle?… they responded with “it’s black truffle oil”. There’s a big difference between black truffle and black truffle oil and that needs to be written on the menu. We fine dine A-LOT, and we have never seen a restaurant mislead their customers the way this place did, and to make matters worst, not even an “im sorry” or a proactive “would you like to switch it for something else”… we asked to turn on the heaters 4 times.. we had to ask for bread for the pasta sauce, when bread should automatically be put on our table… was the food horrible? No it was not. Would I go there again? no I would not.

The restaurant is more of an upscale place. I’d wear at least a polo shirt even though it’s described as casual. The atmosphere tends toward romantic with subdued lighting and a low noise level.

The service was very efficient. The waitstaff was very attentive without being intrusive. The chef was happy to leave off the tomato sauce and cheese from the Italian-American veal Parmigiana to serve the classic Italian veal milanese.

They were happy to split the lasagne between my dining companion and me as a first course. It was delicious, traditional Italian lasagna with béchamel sauce and bolognese sauce—pork, veal and beef in tomato sauce. The veal milanese and parmigiana were delicious. They came with more pasta. The waiter had warned us when we ordered our main courses. We split the tiramisu which was light and delicious.

We ate here the first night of our vacation, and it set the tone for our entire trip. Great food, great service, and prices on point with the "upscale causal" atmosphere. It was my mom's birthday and they surprised her with a cute birthday ice cream. We couldn't have been happier with our experience here.

Little Italian restaurant. The food was okay I'd get a reservation if it's crowded in Palm Springs because it seems popular. There is an outside patio, big windows, and it's darkly lit. Not in a bad way

Great atmosphere, service, and decor. The food was really good also. Best of all has to be the service. Went with the family and could not be happier that this was our chosen spot for our Christmas Eve dinner this year. Will definitely be back to try other menu items! We had the calamari, blue oysters, and mussels for appetizers and tried the Calabrese pizza, chicken marsala, and a nice light salad with grilled chicken; all were good... definitely good enough to warrant another trip back ? to try those other dishes that looked like they'd be super yummy.

We had a great meal with great service!

We stopped in on a Wednesday for a cocktail as we were walking around town. The bartender was so helpful and insistent we try some food. We didn't that night, but promised him we would come back during our visit.

We made reservations for Friday night and everything was wonderful. The wine selection was nice, the Old Fashioned was delicious and the staff was super helpful.

There were 4 of us and all of us were very happy with our dinner selections. If you like seafood, you have to try the cioppino!

We will definitely visit again.

If you're not familiar with our web series, we're Dining with The Davids. When we review a restaurant, we try almost the entire menu with a group of friends whom we refer to as our 'taste buds.' At the end of the evening, everyone votes for their favorites, and we tell you what were the best things we tried.

Il Corso in Downtown Palm Springs is a must-visit for Italian food lovers! Chef Claudio treated us to an unforgettable dining experience, showcasing the very best dishes on the menu.

For appetizers, the Beef Carpaccio with Dijon aioli was delicate and flavorful, while the Prosciutto with Pink Pineapple offered a unique, sweeter twist on a classic pairing.

The mains were just as impressive. First place went to the Pappardelle Norcina with wild mushrooms, Parmesan, and black truffle. In second place was the Australian Lamb Chops paired with chimichurri mashed potatoes and spinach.

It can be really difficult to find good pizza in the desert, but the pizza at Il Corso is in our top 5. We liked the stagioni the best.

Dessert was the cherry on top of an already amazing meal. The Tiramisu was classic and delicious, and the Torta di Cioccolato with layers of chocolate and hazelnut was pure decadence.

Il Corso offers exceptional food, warm hospitality, and a vibrant atmosphere in the heart of Palm Springs. If you’re in town, don’t miss this culinary gem!
